Originally from Philadelphia, Pa., I now live in Washington, D.C.

I majored in Political Communication at the George Washington University, graduating in May 2000.

I grew up in the Northeast section of Philadelphia (see the map at left) and attended George Washington High School before graduating in 1996. Independent study classes throughout high school had given me the time and tools to learn Web design as early as 1994.

My interest in the politcal world began earlier. For years, our family's Sunday mornings centered around a pot of coffee, the New York Times, and This Week with David Brinkley.

One of my first jobs was one of my greatest. I spent three summers working at Fabian-Baber Communication, Inc., a small video production company in the Philadelphia suburbs. At FBI, I helped to create educational videos and build the company's Web site. I loved the job in spite of an hour-long commute in each direction. Politics often dominated workplace conversations. Every project involved researching a new topic -- I was always learning.

Great jobs continued throughout my time in college. In April 1999, I began working for Al Gore's presidential campaign as a Web development intern. Time passed. The campaign relocated to Tennessee. In June 2000, I moved to Nashville and began work as the Gore campaign's senior Web producer. The five month experience was exhausting at times -- exciting at others.

That was the start of a long run that has yet to end. After Gore, I joined Senator Tom Harkin's staff. Later, I found myself in Raleigh, North Carolina working on John Edwards' presidential campaign. After more than a year (and the end of the primary season), I returned to Washington and joined John Kerry's campaign team -- which, happily, grew to include John Edwards.

When I'm not building Web sites, I'm reading newspapers or listening to music. Typically, the music listening coincides with the reading and the working.
